1. Berowra Waters (Dusthole Bay) Boat Ramp
The main boat ramp for Boab Boat Hire Hawkesbury located off Bay Rd at Berowra Waters on the western side of the vehicular ferry. If travelling from the eastern side turn off Old Pacific Hwy at Berowra Waters Rd, Berowra and follow the road signs down the gorge.(note the road is very narrow in parts). Follow all the way to vehicular ferry and cross water on ferry to ramp. A concrete 2 lane ramp with floating jetty , it has ample parking , picnic facilities and toilets. A marina containing restaurants, general store, bait and tackle is adjacent to the ramp. The ramp can get busy on weekends in peak season and it is recommended to be on the water by 9.30 am during these times to ensure parking in the car park. Observe 4 knot zones around Dusthole Bay when approaching or leaving the ramp.

2. Mooney Mooney (Brooklyn Bridge) Boat Ramp
Located adjacent to Deerubbin Reserve at Mooney Mooney. When travelling from Sydney turn left just after crossing the Hawkesbury River road bridge. The ramp is visible on left hand side when travelling over the Hawkesbury bridge heading north. The ramp is a two lane concrete ramp split by a floating pontoon for easy access. The ramp can be heavily affected by wind and tide and caution is required when pulling alongside the pontoon. Toilet facilities are available and there is plenty of parking, however as with most ramps on the Hawkesbury this ramp can get busy in peak times limiting parking. A delivery fee of $156 (covering road delivery and free walk on walk off service)applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. Ramp is approx 25-30 mins from Berowra Waters ramp by water (where there is no delivery fee). Due to the large distances and time involved in delivering boats by road, delivery needs to be discussed with the franchise operator and could, on the odd occasion, be subject to change. The franchise operator will always give the longest possible notice to arrange a suitable alternative time or delivery arrangement.

3. Parsley Bay Brooklyn Boat Ramp
Located at the end of George St Brooklyn. A wide 2 lane concrete boat ramp set in a cove to minimize impact of wind and tide. Easy launch and retrieval however jetty is located 25 metres from ramp. A small sand beach on left side of ramp enables access to boat when launching and a holding area for the boat on return. The ramp has plenty of parking for trailers and has toilet facilities. As with most ramps on the Hawkesbury this ramp can get busy in peak times. A delivery fee of $162 (covering road delivery and free walk on walk off service)applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. Ramp is approx 30-35 mins from Berowra Waters ramp by water (where there is no delivery fee). Due to the large distances and time involved in delivering boats by road, delivery needs to be discussed with the franchise operator and could, on the odd occasion, be subject to change. 4. Windsor Boat Ramp
Ramp is located at the end of George St Windsor at the bottom of Governor Phillip Park. A 3 lane concrete ramp with plenty of parking. The ramp is closed twice a year in May and November for the running of the Bridge to Bridge Ski Classic. Governor Phillip Park offers toilet and picnic facilities. Parking charges may apply. A delivery fee of $102 (covering road delivery and free walk on walk off service) applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. 5. Wiseman’s Ferry Boat Ramp
The ramp is located on River Rd just before you reach the Wisemans Ferry vehicular ferry (turn right as you enter Wiseman’s Ferry and head past the golf course). A single lane concrete boat ramp with limited parking. The area around the ramp suffers from siltation and as a result the ramp may not always be suitable for launching boats. The ramp has a jetty adjacent to it to assist with the loading and unloading of the boat. Toilet facilities are located nearby in the park which also offers picnic facilities. A delivery fee of $126 (covering road delivery and free walk on walk off service) applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. Use of ramp is subject to silting. Due to the large distances and time involved in delivering boats by road, delivery needs to be discussed with the franchise operator and could, on the odd occasion, be subject to change. 6. Appletree Bay (Bobbin Head) Boat Ramp
Located off Ku-ring-gai Chase Road (if entering from the F3 freeway side proceed through to Bobbin Head and turn left at the picnic grounds, following the signs to Appletree Bay). A 2 lane concrete ramp with floating jetty (similar in design to Dusthole Bay). Toilet facilities and ample parking are available at the ramp and picnic facilities are available back at Bobbin Head. During peak season the area can be busy. Access to the ramp is through the National Park and National Park entry charges apply (a single day vehicle pass is currently $11). An additional fee of $120 (covering road delivery, National Park access and free walk on walk off service) applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. 7. Wiseman’s Ferry (Del Rio) Boat Ramp
A private boat ramp for those wishing to combine a holiday and boating experience. Refer to accommodation section for links to Del Rio Riverside Resort. Turn left as you enter Wiseman’s Ferry and proceed to the Webb Creek vehicular ferry. Cross the ferry and turn left onto Chaseling Road following the signs to Del Rio Riverside Resort. This ramp is generally only available to boat operators utilizing the resort accommodation and facilities. An additional fee of $135 (covering road delivery and free walk on walk off service) applies for delivery of Boab boats to this ramp. Due to the large distances and time involved in delivering boats by road, delivery needs to be discussed with the franchise operator and could, on the odd occasion, be subject to change.
