SHADY CAMP |
Shady Camp is located approximately 160km from Darwin.
Shady Camp is part of the Mary River system, there is both saltwater and fresh water fishing for barramundi.
Add 4.5 hours to Darwin tide times for the barrage - launching and retrieving is only possible on high tides and a 4WD is highly recommended.
There is approximately 40km of unsealed road which can be heavily corrugated and very slippery. It gets very busy on weekends during the run-off.
