Wedding Bells …A First for Boab Hawkesbury In a first for Boab Hawkesbury but believed to be the third for the Boab group, last Saturday saw the Sportsrider take on the role of love boat. Chris and Linda set out for a relaxing day on the Hawkesbury, Chris with rod in hand to disguise his true motives. When they returned to Berowra he had caught himself a bride to be and Linda was sporting a very nice ring. The day started with a very nervous Chris, but the beaming smiles as they approached the boat ramp gave away Linda’s response to the question. From myself at Boab Hawkesbury and everyone in the Boab Group we wish Chris and Linda a fabulous wedding day and a wonderful life together, and hope to see them back on the water soon. Photos of Chris and his fiancé Linda have been added to the photo gallery. Craig Usher, Boab Boat Hire Hawkesbury

We will be officially launching Boab Boat Hire Hawkesbury together with our other new arrival Port Stephens at the Sydney International Boat Show from July 31 to August 5. The Hawkesbury River and its many offshoots offer everything from exciting water skiing and tubing to the lure of casting a line in search of the mighty mulloway or the thrill of a sporting battle with a bream or flathead.Mixed in with the excitement are some of the best boat only accessible beaches and picnic spots for that quiet sun soaked afternoon with your best book and a good wine.Fish the Bridges, enjoy the sanctuary of places like America Bay or a favorite with the kids, picnicking with the goannas at Halletts Beach. Alternatively explore the middle and upper reaches of the Hawkesbury as it meanders through national parks and quiet historic towns like Wisemans Ferry and Windsor. Whatever your interest the Hawkesbury can provide and Boab Boat Hire Hawkesbury can get you there. We will be commencing operations with a brand new Sportsrider, the ideal all round leisure boat. Capable of carrying 6 people and powered by a powerful yet economical 90 hp 4 stroke Honda outboard the vessel is capable of delivering all of the above whilst providing a very safe environment for kids and comfort for all the family. In future months we plan to add a Kimberley to our fleet to cater for the more serious fisherman, whilst also being classed as a great all round boat. I am looking forward to meeting you either at the Sydney International Boat Show or in the months that follow to discuss your boating needs and have a few laughs about the one that got away.
